Tobi Bob Snoid

Tobi Bob Snoid is a producer, composer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Berlin. He is part of a new generation of music creators who cannot be confined to any single stylistic category. His work spans chart productions, international advertising campaigns, film scores, and live tours, combining musical precision with a modern, cross-genre understanding of sound.

Raised near Mannheim, Snoid began classical cello lessons at the age of eight. In the years that followed, he taught himself guitar, bass, and piano, laying the foundation for his exceptional versatility as a musician.

In 2014, he moved to the Netherlands to study music production and composition at Hanze University in Groningen. During this time, he founded the techno live project Klankveld, performing across Europe and establishing himself early on as a live performer.

After relocating to Berlin in 2019, his focus increasingly shifted toward composition and production for film, television, and advertising. This led to work for international brands such as Audi, L’Oréal, and Puma, as well as music for successful film and television productions. These include Dangerous Lies, which reached number one on Netflix’s global film charts, along with Dark Desire, White Lines, and other international productions.

Since 2021, Snoid has placed a stronger focus on collaborations with recording artists. As a producer and songwriter, he has worked with acts including MAJAN, KASIMIR1441, Lugatti & 9ine, VICKY, and Johnny Mahoro. His productions are marked by musical depth, sonic precision, and an instinctive ability to merge a wide range of influences in a natural way.

Since 2026, Snoid has also returned to the techno scene: together with Vivien, he produces under the project name VIVI909. Through their productions and unconventional promotional strategies, the two are developing a distinctive artistic signature and are drawing increasing attention within the scene.

Snoid also brings his musical versatility to the stage. He has served as musical director, guitarist, and bassist for Savvy, and has toured with MAJAN as a DJ and pianist. The combination of classical training, many years of live experience, and modern studio work allows him to move effortlessly between pop, hip-hop, electronic music, film scoring, and live performance.
